DAY 1 - Favourite Game -
This is probably incredibly cliche. But Fatal Frame 2 is my favourite. Why? Well,
THE CHARACTERS: They’re not your average horror characters, they have much more depth. Mio & Mayu for explample. (By the way, Im a STRONG believer in the reincarnation theory.) Mayu’s insecurities, her love for her sister, (most likely past on from the past sae/yae relationship) is so strong she would literally do anything to stay with her. Even if it meant risking her life (falling down in the forest) just so she could stay by her side. She’s paranoid, scared, lonely (in some ways, i personally thought she felt isolated due to her ‘sixth sense’ another reason she wouldnt want mio to leave her.) Mio, strong, and loyal. She’s willing to do whatever it takes to protect Mayu, risking her life by going through the village to save her sister. Sae, clearly my favourite…aha…I just love her. I dont know, words cant describe. I personally dont believe she’s evil, i just think she’s misunderstood and grieving (not that her sister is ‘dead’, but because she left.) Yae, I dont really like yae all that much. I appreciate the the sae/yae bond, but still.
THE STORYLINE: is AMAZING. Seriously, The way every little thing was thought out, everything was sorted out. I loved the becoming one with your twin thing, i loved the crimson butterflys. the repeatance. EVERYTHING.
THE LOCATION: The location in the game is perfect, every inch of the village is perfect. Every house, ever ghost. every little thing.
Fatal Frame 2 is definatly one of my all time favourite games, and is definatly my favourite of the series full stop.
